  One of the best--and friendliest--stores in Durango. They provide a grateful alternative to the USPS(where a day off work, a six-hundred page novel, and a Valium prescription are the minimum requirements to endure the lemming-like lines). They have always cheerfully assisted me with organizing and shipping, from the smallest of items to the most cumbersome. Many thanks!

  I called a number of places to see how I could get my deceased mother-in-law's belongings home to Oklahoma. One of the places I called was The UPS Store and they called me back promptly. I dealt with Linda, the owner. She was so professional and provided excellent service through the whole process. My mom lived 30 minutes outside of Durango. The UPS Store sent 2 men to load all the belongings and return them to the store to be packaged. We had a lot of valuable, breakable pieces of furniture. I was concerned but not too badly because Linda communicated with me throughout the whole process (we never even had to go into the store). The whole process was done efficiently and at a great price. I expected to pay more but she told me at the beginning she would work hard to get the price as low as possible and, she did. I was so pleased with the excellent service and great follow up. If I lived in this area, I would use The UPS Store for all my packaging/shipping needs. I can't say enough good things about my experience.

  This place is exactly as the reviews say it is. Aside from the courteous young man at the counter, I have nothing positive to say. The woman who works there is unprofessional, pushy, and flat out rude. I feel sorry for the young gentleman who is learning the job and getting scolded in front of customers like a child. Anyone is who is a professional knows this is not how you train someone. We are passing through and let me tell you if this was the only option available I would much rather ship from home. My husband was nothing but courteous even when he was basically called a liar by this woman, he is a combat veteran and has more integrity than to steal something that is .50 cents from a business.
